The Delivery Engineering team for Workday Analytics is a team of engineers for engineers. We support a variety of groups, including backend, platform, infrastructure, and test engineers. We write software and manage delivery, deployment, and monitoring. We are responsible for the infrastructure that powers Prism, how we support and test it, and ultimately how we deploy it. About the Role
You will be a key contributor on the Analytics Delivery Engineering team. As an SRE, you will help build a clean, scalable, reliable, and automated services framework.
What You Will Do
Build robust CI/CD and automation for the Prism engineering team and the SRE team. Enhance and improve monitoring, alerting, and tracing for internal and production services. Collaborate with the SRE team to set technical direction while ensuring requirements are met. Enhance, build, secure, and maintain environments for Prism Analytics in federal deployments. Act as the primary contact with multiple internal teams. Participate in production on‑call duties and events to ensure reliability of analytics applications in GovCloud.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement solutions for the Kubernetes platform, including infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools. Build and maintain core platform components, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using Terraform and Argo CD. Provide support and troubleshooting for platform‑related issues, collaborating with development teams. Implement and maintain security best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Documentation and knowledge sharing
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform components and processes. Actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team.
About You
This role may require a TS/SCI clearance with or without CI Poly. Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance. An active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on experience with infrastructure, either on‑premises or cloud‑based, with a deep understanding of systems architecture, networking, and security. Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and administration.
Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience Other Qualifications
Infrastructure as code: Proficiency with Terraform. CI/CD: Experience building or maintaining pipelines with Argo CD. Cloud: 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services in production. Programming: Proficiency in at least one language, preferably Go or Python. Problem‑solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to haves
Experience with Prometheus and Grafana. Experience with security auditing and compliance frameworks.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can provide more detail during the hiring process.
