Position Summary

As the Supply Planning Specialist, you're the brains behind managing our shipments in our wet manufacturing division. This means you'll act as the key point of contact for our factories, warehouses, and our affiliates to monitor on-time shipments, our case fill rate, and our inventory stock levels. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve profitable growth and operational excellence, all while, gaining a keen sense of how our logistics function in our business operates in a leading pet food manufacturer.

  • First point of contact for communication of supply plans and issue resolutions.
  • Collaborate with Brand Management to ensure that inventory plans are in place to support brand initiatives and customer service.
  • Monitor and identify potential inventory problems.
  • Collaborate with factories and vendors to execute production plans.
  • Assist factories in management of finished goods inventories to ensure freshness.
  • Develop and lead short-term projects related to cost savings initiatives
  • Analyze data to ensure we are meeting on-time shipments, Customer Order Fulfilment, and inventory targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years’ experience or an internship working in logistics, supply chain, demand planning, or related field

OR

  • High School Diploma and 5+ years’ experience working in logistics, supply chain, demand planning, or related field
