Overview We are partnering with our highly successful action sports product client to locate a talented Computer Vision Engineer. Our client is the leader in their market space, established and profitable.
Responsibilities
Design and implement vision-based systems that enable real-time tracking motion using high-speed camera data.
Directly power the core functionality of the client’s flagship products.
Work with high-frame-rate, multi-camera systems to extract 3D trajectory and impact data.
Blend algorithm development, machine vision, and performance optimization in a fast-paced, hardware-integrated environment.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency due to ITAR regulations.
At least 3 years of experience in computer vision, preferably in a real-time, product-focused environment.
Strong proficiency in Python (C++ is a plus), with experience using OpenCV or similar vision libraries.
Solid understanding of camera geometry, calibration (intrinsic/extrinsic), and lens distortion correction.
Experience with multi-camera setups, stereo vision, or 3D reconstruction.
Familiarity with object detection/tracking techniques (optical flow, Kalman filters, background subtraction, deep learning-based methods).
Knowledge of real-time optimization techniques, parallel processing, or embedded CV deployment.
Salary / Rate Range $100,000 – $130,000 (plus 10% annual bonus)
Other Information
It is a fun, relaxed, and very casual dress environment with many talented engineers doing technology-changing work. The expectation is 4 days/week on site with one remote day/week.
