At AECOM, we are currently recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join us at our Dublin, Cork or Galway office.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Manage the mechanical engineering team across Ireland.
Deliver both stand‑alone and multi‑disciplinary projects with excellence.
Mentor and support engineers and technicians to grow their careers and capabilities.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing ones.
Act as Project Manager on mechanical‑led or multi‑disciplinary projects.
Drive innovation, solving complex engineering challenges with creativity and expertise.
Qualifications
Degree Qualified – MEng or BEng in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
Proven Experience – Strong track record delivering mechanical engineering projects in a consultancy or similar environment.
Sector Expertise – Experience across key sectors including healthcare, leisure, commercial, and higher education.
