Staff Nurse – San Joseph Respite House – Children's Services, Limerick

Salary
€37,788–56,032* (subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience)
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to children with intellectual and complex disabilities as part of a team, working varied hours to a roster on a 7‑day/night service.
Essential Qualifications
- Up‑to‑date NMBI registration
- Experience in the area of intellectual disability
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence
- Proficiency in the English language
- Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework
Desirable Qualifications
- Intellectual Disability Nurse Registration (RNID)
- Proven organisational, communication, interpersonal and team working skills
- Commitment to implement Avista core values and vision
- Previous experience working with children with a dual diagnosis
- Experience and/or interest in working with children
- Knowledge of person‑centred planning and awareness of HIQA & TUSLA requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills xcfaprz
- Experience supporting children/adults to integrate into their community
