Nocturnist Physician

MD would be responsible for all admitted hospitalist patients overnight which includes but is not limited to the following: Responding to and managing any Rapid Responses or Codes Assessing patients and developing appropriate plans as needed for any acute events of changes in patient status Coordinating with nursing staff and responding to questions/concerns as needed Providing appropriate hand-off/sign-out at the conclusion of their shift to the day team Determine patients that require transfer to tertiary hospital and contacting PAL line to facilitate
