Our team is looking for a
Senior DevOps Engineer
for one of our clients.
Our customer
is a company operating in the geriatrics sector, focused on modernising their infrastructure to improve care delivery through technology.
The project
is migrating workloads from on-premises and self-managed cloud servers (Azure) to AWS. We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who has led such migrations or has the maturity to handle complex cloud transitions.
Technology stack : AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python or Bash.
Responsibilities and tasks Lead the on‑premises → AWS cloud migration.
Assess on‑premises workloads and define lift‑and‑shift, refactor, or modernisation strategies.
Design and manage infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
Manage containerised workloads on Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and ECS/Fargate.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability across all environments.
Define and enforce security, access control, and compliance standards.
Automate repetitive operational tasks and drive toil reduction.
Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps culture.
Our expectations of the candidate 7+ years in DevOps or platform engineering (ideally 7–8 years).
Proven experience migrating on‑premises workloads to cloud.
Deep, hands‑on AWS expertise (not just theoretical).
Production experience with Terraform at scale.
Hands‑on experience with Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
