Substantive Consultant in Dermatology

Salary: £111,430 - £148,064 per annum pro rata. 5PA Part Time, with potential to increase hours. This is a substantive Dermatology Consultant post at Raigmore Hospital, NHS Highland.

Raigmore Hospital is the principal acute hospital of NHS Highland, serving a catchment area of 12,500 square miles with a population of around 320,000. This post requires full GMC registration and licence to practice and current specialist registration in Dermatology or be within 6 months of attaining CCT from the date of interview.

• Provide a wide range of dermatology clinical services, including clinics for Systemic Diseases, Routine and Cancerous Lesions, Paediatrics and Skin Surgery.
  
• Carry out inpatient referrals and reviews; provide advice and guidance to primary care; participate in administrative virtual clinics (e.g., NHS Near Me).
  
• Contribute to a multi-disciplinary Dermatology Service with a supportive management, administrative and secretarial team.
  

Join a unique Dermatology Service at Raigmore Hospital with opportunities for clinical, educational and research activities. NHS Highland covers a large geographic area; some travel time to hospital may be required. The service delivers clinics virtually by phone or NHS Near Me where appropriate.
