We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team! Our clinic specializes in pediatrics, and we are seeking out additional team members to help the children in our community.
We are currently hiring full-time and part-time therapists to work in Anchorage, Eagle River/Chugiak, Palmer, and Wasilla, AK. Please respond to this post if you're interested in any of these locations.
Our clinic provides therapy services primarily in patients' homes and throughout the community. We often work with clients at parks, trailheads, rock gyms, bowling alleys, on the water, or on ski trails. This approach allows for greater creativity, better understanding of each client's specific needs, enhanced carryover of home exercise programs and education, and improved outcomes. We encourage community outings and exploration of outdoor recreation, and our clinic provides all necessary resources to support your creative treatment approaches.
*Responsibilities:*
* Managing your own schedule to meet your needs and scheduling patients accordingly
* Completing documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and daily notes in SOAP format, and administering standardized assessments
* Communicating with patients/caregivers, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient care
*Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
* Experience in pediatrics is preferred, we are happy to train and mentor new graduates and therapists that are new to pediatrics
* Preference given to candidates with an active AK state OT license
*Compensation/benefits:* $85-91 per treatment hour
* 25 treatment hours per week

While pediatrics is our largest population, our providers have various specialties including behavioral health, adult and pediatric pelvic health, geriatrics, orthopedics, and lactation.
