1st Shift - General Labor

General Laborer duties may include cleaning job areas, loading and assembly of products as well as using a variety of tools, power tools, grinders and forklifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/supervisor in a timely manner
• Dissemble steel pieces from stamped or laser cut sheets and sort according to order
• Accurately read a tape measure and micrometer
• Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/department lead in a timely manner
• Execute daily work instructions received form shop manager/department lead in a timely manner
• Able to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a team
• Manual dexterity to use handheld tools and shop machines
• Dissemble steel pieces from stamped or laser cut sheets and sort according to order
• Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt and set out/put away tools
• Safely operate a forklift handle materials and complete work

Qualifications:

• Great work ethic
• Detail oriented and self-motivated
• Experience in general labor/manufacturing and/or metal fabrication
• Ability to understand blueprints documents
• Must be able to understand and read written instructions and/or directions in work related documents
• Manual dexterity to use handheld tools and shop machines
• Stamina to remain on feet completing various tasks
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment, preferred knowledge of JobBOSS
• Forklift operation
• PEMM operation and set up experience
