Overview

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will design, build, secure, and operate enterprise‑grade APIs that integrate cloud platforms with on‑premise banking application suites. The role focuses on developing reliable and scalable integration services, enabling secure data exchange across core banking, payments, fraud, risk, CRM, and digital platforms, while meeting stringent regulatory, availability, and security requirements. You will work closely with solution architects, platform engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver API products aligned to bank integration patterns, including synchronous REST services and event‑driven integrations.

  • Security, Compliance & Controls: Implement strong API security controls (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, JWT validation, request signing, API gateway policies, rate limiting); apply secure coding practices and align solutions with bank security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations (least privilege, encryption in transit/at rest); collaborate with security to support threat modeling, pen test remediation, and secure configuration management.
  • Cloud–On‑Prem Connectivity & Integration: Build and operate integration flows using enterprise tooling (API gateway, service mesh, ESB/iPaaS, message brokers); implement hybrid connectivity patterns such as VPN/ExpressRoute/Direct Connect equivalents, private endpoints, network segmentation, and secure routing; integrate with on‑prem technologies (MQ, legacy services, SOAP where required, databases, batch systems) and modern cloud services.
