Drive introduction of new SW functionalities, radio units and basebands in our Ericsson-based radio access networks. SW feature selection, implementation and evaluation. SW parameter design and optimization. HW configuration design for base stations including testing in lab. Private networks and virtual private networks. Advanced troubleshooting, sometimes in collaboration with our customers and partners. What will help you thrive in this role:
Good competence in radio access network – 4G and 5G – including hands‑on skills with the base station software and hardware. Overall understanding about the mobile network architecture, specifically for RAN but also including Core, HSS, IMS. Tools such as Ericsson Network Manager (ENM), Polystar Kalix and Osix, Keysight NEMO or equivalent. Good knowledge of agile ways of working and SAFe is a merit. Good English skills, both in writing and spoken. M. Sc. Degree in Engineering or equivalent education. Experience with Ericsson’s RAN products. Knowledge about more than one vendor’s products is a merit. What we offer
