POSITION OVERVIEW

The Customer Accounts Coordinator is responsible for fielding inbound customer calls and inquiries as they relate to orders and shipments by collaborating with other departments. The Customer Accounts coordinator will re-direct calls to the appropriate personnel when necessary. This role will also be responsible for the setup of new customers and stores by working in collaboration with the sales and master data team.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer and route a high volume of inbound calls while providing quality service to Costa Farms customers.
  • Data entry and research as required to resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Route calls to appropriate department or team member as needed.
  • Assist the Credit & Claims team with general credit request inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to the Credit & Claims & Accounts Receivable Department (retrieving, logging and/or saving files).
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers always.
  • Create customer set up requests received from the Sales team within 72 hours.
  • Set up stores in our data base.
  • Work in collaboration with Master Data team on special projects relating to customer/store setup.
  • Review credit applications and pull the Dunn & Bradstreet/Experian credit reports.
  • Share credit report along with feedback to management
  • Send out and follow up on customer credit references.
  • Participate in additional initiatives and key deliverables as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
  • Bilingual - fluent English and Spanish verbal communication skills are required.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working in customer support.
  • Multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
