Job description The Quality Control (QC) team ensures that all finished and semi-finished products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. As a contract manufacturing site, we work closely with various internal teams to guarantee that every product manufactured complies with strict procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Quality, accuracy, and consistency are central to everything we do. Job Summary
As QC Inspector , you will perform tests, inspections, and sample management activities to safeguard product quality throughout both the project phase and the production ramp-up phase. You will follow established procedures, work according to GLP/GDP standards, evaluate test results, and ensure accurate documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and well-organized laboratory environment.
Job Responsibilities
Depending on the phase we are in (project phase vs. ramp-up/production phase), this role will have a slightly different focus.
Project Phase: Now until at least November 2026 - Day Shift
- Perform physical/functional, dimensional, and visual tests and inspections according to prescribed procedures.
- Execute monitoring tests, stability studies, validation activities, and engineering requests.
- Document all work in line with GLP/GDP standards.
- Process and evaluate results against established specifications.
- Create non-conformity reports in the ERP system when ‘out of spec’ results occur.
- Take and distribute samples for quality control of finished and semi-finished products.
- Archive and manage retention samples, batch records, and test results.
- Perform testing on a semi-automatic line.
- Interpret results correctly and communicate with QC and Production teams to act quickly on issues.
- Enter results into SAP or summary files for releases or trend analyses.
- For raw materials: perform the final release of goods in SAP.
- Ensure a clean and well-maintained working environment.
- Monitor laboratory parameters and equipment; support periodic verification activities.
- Support (quality) operators with the interpretation of in-process inspections.
- Provide training to other QC inspectors or operators when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in (clinical/industrial) chemistry, food, biomedical laboratory technology, process technology, or equivalent experience.
- Strong ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Quality-oriented mindset with a structured, reliable, and well-documented way of working.
- Able to maintain focus, precision and consistency in routine and repetitive testing activities.
- Very good knowledge of English and Dutch, enabling clear communication and accurate documentation.
- Solid IT skills and digital literacy, with confidence in working with laboratory systems, databases, and standard software tools.
- Willingness to adapt to future shift work as production ramps up.
