Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior/Lead Java Engineer to spearhead the development of secure, cloud-native applications. This role requires a technical authority who can balance high-level
Spring Boot
development with a "security-first" mindset. You will lead the transition to and optimization of services within the
Azure
ecosystem, ensuring our RESTful APIs are scalable, containerized, and protected by modern identity protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Secure API Design : Architect and maintain robust RESTful APIs using
Spring Boot , ensuring high performance and strict adherence to architectural standards.
Advanced Security : Design and implement security protocols using Spring Security, including
OAuth2 ,
OpenID Connect (OIDC) , and
JWT-based stateless authentication .
Azure Cloud Management : Deploy and manage microservices on
Azure , leveraging services such as
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) ,
Azure App Service , and
Azure Functions .
CI/CD & Automation : Lead the automation of build and deployment workflows using
GitHub Actions , integrating security scanning and
Azure-specific
deployment targets.
Containerization : Drive the containerization strategy using
Docker , ensuring seamless orchestration within cloud environments.
Technical Leadership : Provide mentorship to the engineering team, conducting rigorous code reviews and setting the standard for cloud-native development.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
Professional Experience : 5–10+ years of professional Java development experience, with a focus on enterprise-level architectures.
Spring Boot Expertise : Deep proficiency in the Spring ecosystem, specifically in creating secure, production-ready microservices.
Azure Proficiency : Proven experience with
Azure Cloud
infrastructure, including networking, storage, and compute services.
Authentication Standards : Expert-level knowledge of
OAuth2 ,
OIDC , and
JWT
