This healthcare facility is part of a progressive medical system that provides comprehensive urological services to the community. The facility features a modern 25-bed department with state-of-the-art equipment including a Da Vinci Xi Robot and dedicated clinic space ready for urological practice.
Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive urological services with approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Work Monday through Friday schedule with NO CALL COVERAGE required
• Typical schedule consists of 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8am - 5pm
• Follow a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation schedule
• Must maintain active Michigan license, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA
• Board certification or board eligibility required (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery)
• Must have completed ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship in Urology
• Require at least 50 urological procedures within past 12 months or recent residency/fellowship completion
• General adult urology services required, pediatric urology preferred
• Perform laparoscopic surgeries and ureteroscopy procedures
• Conduct renal and bladder ultrasounds with biopsy capabilities
• Provide TRUS biopsies and fertility work-up services
• Robotic surgery experience preferred for various procedures
• Nephrectomy and prostatectomy experience preferred
• Incontinence procedures experience preferred
• ACLS certification required
• Facility lodging available with amenities during scheduled shifts
• 30-day credentialing timeframe anticipated
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
