We are looking for an
AI/ML Engineer
to lead the design, deployment, and production‑scale operation of machine learning systems on Amazon Web Services. This role involves architecting and deploying end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model packaging, monitoring, and continuous improvement, while ensuring security, reliability, and scalability. This is a full-time, onsite role located in
Carlsbad, CA . Responsibilities Architect and deploy scalable ML systems using AWS infrastructure Collaborate with product managers, engineers, security teams, and clients to understand and fulfill functional and compliance needs Serve as subject matter expert for AWS and cloud-based topics Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and performance optimization Run pilot implementations, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution Offer technical support and guidance throughout product lifecycle and ongoing support and optimization following product delivery Build strong client relationships through high-quality technical delivery Required Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience designing and deploying ML models Hands-on experience with AWS Associate-level or higher AWS Certification (Machine Learning Engineer or CloudOps Engineer) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Bonus Qualifications Experience with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3 Experience with Python Experience with PyTorch or other ML frameworks Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $135,000 to $170,000 Safe Harbor 401(k) with 4% employer match Health and dental insurance with 99% employer contribution towards employee premiums Flex time + inclusive PTO policy for work-life balance Onsite gym Machina Cognita Technologies does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, or other non-merit factors. xywuqvp We recognize and appreciate the value of a diverse workforce and encourage all qualified individuals to apply.
