This internship is a great opportunity for those passionate about technology and Salesforce development. The role will require 3 days a week working from our Centreville office, subject to future business needs.
Responsibilities
Active development on our Agent‑facing applications built on the Salesforce platform using both programmatic and declarative tools.
Participate in design, architectural reviews, code reviews, and unit tests.
Review business requirements / functional specifications.
Work with the QA team to analyze and resolve production issues and defects.
Collaborate on developing integrations.
Participate in the full SDLC, including meetings and design sessions.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical individuals at all levels.
Work effectively within a collaborative team to identify and resolve issues.
Requirements
Working towards a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
Familiarity with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Passion for learning and working with Salesforce technologies.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with Salesforce development, administration, or configuration.
Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components.
Familiarity with ETL concepts.
Familiarity with AWS Glue.
Salesforce Administrator certification or other relevant certifications.
Knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboard development.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
