This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on expanding market share, building relationships with veterinary clinics and producers, and executing strategic territory growth initiatives. The organization offers a collaborative, performance-driven culture with strong leadership support and long-term career upside.
Territory Candidates should reside within the territory or be willing to relocate. Occasional Midwest states regional travel is expected.
Position Overview The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating revenue growth, expanding customer relationships, and executing territory-level business plans. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to customers while representing a strong portfolio of animal health solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and territory objectives
Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the Indiana territory
Build and maintain relationships with veterinary clinics, producers, and key decision-makers
Deliver product education, training, and presentations to customers and industry groups
Leverage CRM tools to plan, track, and report sales activities
Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and association meetings
Maintain a high level of technical product knowledge and industry expertise
Operate in compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications Required:
2–5+ years of outside sales experience in a competitive environment
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (including occasional overnight travel)
Preferred:
Experience in animal health, veterinary sales, agriculture, or related industries
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Experience presenting to both small and large audiences
Familiarity with CRM tools and territory planning
