Position Overview:
This Data Analyst role supports Dakota Bodies and CM Truck Beds within Truck Equipment. The position partners with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive data-driven decisions, improve forecasting, and enhance business performance. This role is critical to supporting the SIOP process and scaling analytics capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports Analyze sales, inventory, production, and forecast data Support SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) Develop data models from ERP and business systems Identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities Automate reporting and reduce manual processes Ensure data accuracy through QA and validation Present insights to business stakeholders Core Requirements:
Power BI fundamentals (DAX, modeling, visualization) SQL curiosity / eager to explore and develop Advanced Excel skills (Lookups, Pivots, Power Query) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and attention to detail Microsoft 365 Suite Experience Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturing or distribution experience SIOP / supply chain analytics exposure Forecasting or demand planning experience Python or R (nice to have) Cross-functional collaboration experience Experience & Education: 13+ years in an analytical role Bachelors Degree in Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field
