Aftermarket & Proposals Dumbarton | Up to £35,000 | Full-time, Permanent | 37hrs (Flexi-time) Are you a technically minded sales professional who thrives on turning enquiries into orders? We're partnering with a well-established and growing specialist engineering business to find a Sales Engineer who can own the proposals process from first enquiry through to confirmed order. This isn't a cold-calling role. You'll be working with warm, inbound enquiries, interpreting technical requirements, crafting competitive proposals, and building the kind of client relationships that generate repeat business year after year. What You'll Be Doing You'll be the engine behind the aftermarket sales function, managing RFQs, preparing detailed tenders and quotations, and acting as the key point of contact for customers across retrofit, parts and equipment upgrade solutions. Day-to-day you'll: Handle incoming enquiries and turn them around into accurate, competitive quotations Build and maintain strong customer relationships across defined territories Prepare and present proposals, electronically and occasionally face-to-face Follow up on quotes and actively work to improve conversion rates Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to business growth Collaborate with internal teams to ensu...
