As aPrincipal Solution Engineer (SE) at LinkedIn, you are a strategic, customer-facing partner who helps shape how organizations hire, market, and develop talent. You are not just a product expert. You Partner with Account Directors, Account Executives, and Sales Leadership to influence deal approach, solution sequencing, and long-term platform positioning. Your role is to help customers clearly see the value LinkedIn can deliver and to guide them confidently from vision to decision.


This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in helping to transform a Global Solution Engineering team through the adoption of best practices, stronger sales alignment, and the use of AI tools to drive greater efficiency in partnership with Regional Leadership.

Responsibilities

Serve as thetechnical and solutioning lead for sales opportunities, aligning LinkedIn solutions to customerobjectivesand business outcomes.


Design and deliver tailored demos and solution narrativesacross LinkedIn Talent Solutions, LinkedIn Learning, and Talent Insights that address specific customer challenges.


Partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Professional Servicesto drive opportunities from discovery through close and into successful adoption.


Engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, from recruiters and HR leaders to TA leadership and C-suite executives.


Translate complex concepts such as labor market data, skills intelligence, and AI-powered matching into clear, practical value for customers.


Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on talent, hiring, and workforce trends to remain credible and impactful in customer conversations.


Basic Qualifications

7+ yearsof experience insolution engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting, supporting enterprise SaaS solutions.


4+ yearsstakeholder managementexperience,with the ability to align different perspectives toward a shared outcome.


4+ yearsexecutive communicationexperiencewiththe ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.


4+ yearsconsistenttrack recordof resolving complex technical, integration, and security challenges in customer environments.


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience


Demonstrated successoperatingat aPrincipal or equivalent senior IC level


Display initiative, self-motivation and deliver high quality resultsalong with meeting all expectations for both internal and external stakeholders.


Strong interest intechnology, data, and AI, with curiosityabout how these apply to work, talent, and productivity.


Experience with HR Tech, Talent Platforms, Recruiting Technology, Learning Platforms, or Analytics solutions


Familiarity with solution architecture, APIs, SSO, HRIS/LMS integrations, data mapping, and secure data exchange (e.g., SFTP)


Track recordof driving impact beyond individual accounts through enablement, standards, or strategic initiative.


Enjoys seeking out information and experimenting, with a strong focus on diving deep into specific topics and solving problems.


Effective at explaining ideas and finding engaging ways to hold people’s attention. xcfaprz


Professionalproficiencyin German is preferred to support engagement with German-speaking clients and stakeholders.
