We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, who are expanding the team. Area to cover: Tipperary, South Limerick, Cork and Wexford.
What You Need to Know: A chance to join a supportive team with full training provided. If you enjoy hands‑on work, this role offers plenty of variety as you’ll be servicing well‑known machinery at various locations.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment at different sites, with a company van, tools, and uniform provided. The role suits those who can plan their own day and work independently, with support always on hand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Attend customer sites within your designated area (and outside that area when required) for machine installations, decommissions, breakdowns, maintenance and repairs, cleaning and re‑decaling, all in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
Report to the Company using the Company Tablet or via service documentation, detailing installations, decommissions, meter readings and any thefts, vandalism, or other engineering problems.
Maintain adequate stock onboard your vehicle for machine repairs and fault rectification.
Return any defective stock items to the Company’s premises, clearly marked with machine serial number and fault information.
Qualifications and Requirements
Previous experience in field service or maintenance – a plus.
Qualified electricians encouraged to apply.
Full driving licence required.
Proven ability to plan daily routes and work independently. xcfaprz
