In the role, the successful candidate will:



  • Architecture: Develop and execute long-term network roadmaps aligned with business goals, including digital transformation and cloud migration
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the lifecycle of LAN, WAN, wireless, and data centre infrastructures
  • Security & Compliance: Implement zero‑trust security frameworks, manage firewalls/VPNs, and ensure adherence to standards like NIST or ISO 27001
  • Team & Vendor Management: Manage 3rd‑party relationships with partners and vendors
  • Disaster Recovery: Design and test comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans ensuring documentation is up to date
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools for proactive anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and capacity planning
  • Operations Management:

    • Ensure all network systems are functioning & communicating properly. Systems include servers, firewalls, routers, network switches, VPN devices and other related network systems
    • Daily network administration duties
    • Support, configure, maintain the corporate work
    • Configure & support 3rd‑party applications and network connections

  • Network Governance: Ensure network security standards (CIS), policies & regulation are properly implemented within the network environment
  • Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput and latency)

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:



  • Must have 10+ years’ experience in a relevant role
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • High value placed on advanced credentials such as CCIE, CCNP, or cloud‑specific certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Strong analytical problem‑solving, stakeholder communication, and the ability to influence executive‑level decisions.
  • Possess an advanced understanding of networking protocols & procedures
  • The candidate must demonstrate:
  • A good aptitude for relevant technologies
  • Proven experience in a network administration & engineering role
  • Exceptional critical thinking & problem‑solving ability
  • Knowledge of best practices regarding management, control & monitoring of network infrastructure
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of computing infrastructures
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills to provide support in a professional manner
  • Ability to work on own initiative & demonstrate proactive ownership of tasks and issues with a defined SLA
  • Self‑motivated with good judgement, organisational and time management skills
  • An ability to follow established processes & procedures and define new ones when appropriate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good team working capability
  • Dedicated and flexible work attitude
