The Role

Join our dynamic team and take ownership of end-to-end operations for our On-Body Injector (OBI) platform. In this role, you’ll lead critical initiatives across new product development, customizations, scale-up, cost optimization, and life cycle management. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver on key business objectives while shaping the future of OBI technology. Working alongside the E2E Value Stream Leader, you’ll define and execute a robust manufacturing network strategy that ensures supply continuity and cost efficiency.


This is a high-impact position where you’ll drive cost improvement programs, support R&D integration for design enhancements, and manage project budgets, resources, and capital investments. You’ll provide technical leadership to overcome operational challenges, conduct capacity planning aligned with demand forecasts, and develop strategic scenarios to address constraints. Main Responsibilities

  • Define, plan, and execute the manufacturing network strategy for On-Body Injector (OBI) in collaboration with the E2E Value Stream Leader.
  • Mitigate supply interruptions and ensure cost control within established budgets.
  • Drive cost improvement initiatives by partnering with internal cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners.
  • Support R&D efforts to integrate product design improvements, customizations, and line extensions into manufacturing processes.
  • Establish and manage project expenses, resource allocation, and capital requirements aligned with the overall manufacturing strategy.
  • Monitor and control spending to remain within budget and forecast targets.
  • Provide technical and operational leadership to resolve complex challenges and ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct capacity planning based on demand projections to optimize production capabilities.
  • Develop and present scenarios to address identified capacity constraints and maintain supply continuity.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to meet business deliverables and ensure successful execution of operational plans.

About You / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline; advanced qualifications are a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong background in manufacturing operations and extended supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in complex, high-impact projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid technical aptitude with knowledge of lean and Six Sigma methodologies; experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project/program management and financial acumen, including understanding of manufacturing cost structures.
