Radiology Physician

Summary: Join a dedicated team at an outpatient clinic located in the beautiful city of Grass Valley, California. This position focuses on Diagnostic Radiology with Mammography (biopsy) privileges, and the practice is designed to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a supportive environment. The facility is well-equipped and staffed with experienced radiology technicians and support staff to ensure efficient operations.

• Read studies from all modalities, including diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies.
• Perform breast biopsies and other essential procedures as required.
• Collaborate with support staff, including radiology and ultrasound technicians.
• Provide detailed reporting and interpretation of radiological findings.
• Work effectively during the scheduled hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems effectively, specifically Cerner.
• Handle volumes of patient cases efficiently, working alongside a team of radiologists.

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology or Board Eligible (highly preferred).
• California State License (required).
• Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies (required).
• BLS/ACLS and DEA certifications during credentialing (required).
• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (required).
