DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee)
The Impact You Will Have in This Role As a member of the CISO department in the IAM Team, serving as an Analyst in Machine Identity & Secrets Management, you will support DTCC’s enterprise secrets management and machine identity capabilities, powered by HashiCorp Vault. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands‑on exposure to security platforms, cloud‑native technologies, and DevOps practices.
You will work closely with senior engineers and platform teams to help ensure applications and services securely authenticate and access sensitive credentials. Your contributions will support secure‑by‑default application development and help maintain a reliable, scalable security platform across DTCC’s technology ecosystem.
This role is ideal for a curious, detail‑oriented analyst who is eager to learn, grow technical skills, and contribute to meaningful security initiatives in a collaborative environment.
Your Primary Responsibilities
Support the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of DTCC’s Machine Identity and Secrets Management platform
Assist with configuration and administration of HashiCorp Vault, including secret engines, authentication methods, policies, and access controls
Help monitor platform health, availability, and performance, escalating issues as needed
Participate in onboarding applications and services to securely consume secrets
Assist with automation efforts related to platform configuration, environment consistency, and repetitive operational tasks
Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines under guidance from senior team members
Collaborate with application, platform, and security teams to understand requirements and support secure integrations
Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
Learn and apply security best practices related to machine identity, access control, and secrets management

Qualifications
1–2 years of relevant experience (technology, security, DevOps, and/or systems engineering)
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field), and/or equivalent practical experience
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
