À propos

UCHealth is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Denver Float Pool within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care across a variety of inpatient units in our Colorado‑based, nonprofit health care system. As part of a flexible float team, you will care for diverse adult patient populations, including medical‑surgical, step‑down, and specialty areas, adjusting quickly to different workflows, teams, and patient needs while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. You will complete thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, administer medications and treatments safely, monitor changes in patient condition, and coordinate with physicians and interprofessional colleagues to ensure optimal outcomes. Using advanced clinical judgment and critical‑thinking skills, you will respond to urgent situations, support rapid responses, and follow evidence‑based protocols to provide timely, appropriate interventions. You will document all care accurately in the electronic medical record, communicate clearly with patients and families, and provide education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions to support safe transitions of care. UCHealth emphasizes an innovative, diverse, and inclusive work environment focused on patient care excellence and continuous improvement, and you will actively participate in ongoing training, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development opportunities. This full‑time position offers competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement savings options, along with structured onboarding, mentorship, and opportunities to grow your career within a leading health system dedicated to improving lives across our communities.
