Positional Overview
The Imagine Group is recruiting for a Customer Service Representative Flex on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of fluid system components in Buffalo , NY . This organization specializes in high-quality valves, fittings, and related solutions that support critical operations across industries such as energy, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. In this role you will be responsible for supporting customers through order management, product inquiries, and issue resolution while ensuring a high level of service and accuracy. You will collaborate with internal teams such as sales and operations to coordinate timelines, troubleshoot concerns, and maintain strong customer relationships. This flexible position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to varying schedules or business needs.
Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success
- Answer incoming calls, assist walk-in customers, and receive faxes and e-business orders to quote price and availability of company and 3rd party products
- Liaison between customer, company factory, and local salespeople
- Participate in and promote services such as free delivery and Answer incoming calls, assist walk-in customers, and receive faxes and e-business orders to quote price and availability of company and 3rd party products
- Custom Solutions, our assembly service
- Acquire a working knowledge of company product to effectively and directly answer customer inquiries
- Coordinate inventory availability between company factory and three local WNY offices
- Abide by a 4-hour window: our commitment to respond to customers within four hours with an answer or an update
- Working knowledge of functions such as the eDTR (electronic desktop catalog), IVT (Inventory Visibility Tool), Product Evaluation System, Part Configurator, Service Requests through ServiceNow
- Understand and abide by all company Corporate and company WNY local policies
- Passion for personal development and continuous improvement
- Contribute to our highly team-based approach to providing world class customer service
- Understand the critical requirements and standard work of our company Quality System (SQS) and ISO 9001 compliance
- Utilize SAP software to capture customer information and continuous improvement events
