LPN

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department in a dynamic hospital setting. As an integral member of the patient care team, the LPN works under the direction of Registered Nurses and physicians to deliver safe, high-quality care to patients across a variety of medical and surgical units. The LPN will obtain and document vital signs, assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, and provide direct bedside care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic wound care. The LPN will administer medications and treatments in accordance with New York State LPN scope of practice and MVHS policies, closely monitor patients for changes in condition, and promptly report concerns to the supervising RN or provider. This role requires accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, effective communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, and consistent adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
