As a Room Leader , you will oversee the care and development of up to 15 babies, working closely with a skilled team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a nurturing and safe environment for children under 2 years old.
• Implementing a key person approach to help babies form secure attachments.
• Guiding colleagues in identifying training and development needs.
• Maintaining high-quality learning journals and records on the EyLog and EyMan systems.
• Building positive relationships with parents and inviting them to participate in activities.
• Modeling professionalism and fostering respect among your team, parents, and children.
• Ensuring compliance with EYFS framework and safety standards.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Essential).
• Previous experience working with babies under 2 years old.
• A passion for outdoor learning and enthusiasm for forest school activities.
• A strong understanding of child development and the ability to provide purposeful learning experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in working with parents and colleagues.
• Knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
