Sales Activities: Engage in direct sales with active/potential resellers, partners and end customers. Responsibilities will include making cold and warm calls to uncover opportunities within the channel. Deliver online or face-to-face presentations and demonstrations and coordinate internal resources as needed
Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners to drive sales and growth
Sales Strategy: Support the research, lead generation and client onboarding. Maintain knowledge of TP-Link's key competitors and industry trends
Pipeline Creation: Generate end-user leads
Support of Field Sales: Work in a team environment to support Regional Sales Managers with activities such as quoting customers, prospecting for new customers, trade show execution and follow-up
Sales Operations: Participate in the territory sales process, which includes lead follow-up, pipeline management, and forecasting
Data Analysis: Analyze sales data using CRM tools to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Individual Performance: Meets or exceeds sales and product objectives in territory by effectively utilizing all resources available. Develop and leverage a strong understanding of solutions from TP-Link. Leverage TP-Link's value proposition to influence buying decisions within strategic accounts and markets
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 2 years of related inside sales experience.
Background in networking technologies.
An understanding of the two-tiered distribution business model and sales channels.
Experience using contact management software.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred.
Candidate must live in one of the following states: MI, IN, OH, KY, NM, TX, OK, MT, WY, UT, CO, ND, SD, NE, KS, CA, AZ, HI
Compensation Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 + monthly sales commissions (This role pays an hourly rate, equivalent to $28-$38/hour, and a results‑driven, uncapped commission plan. Total on‑target earnings (OTE) are structured as 60% base pay with 40% variable compensation, with additional upside for overperformance).
