The Role
You will play a key role in supporting new sales activity by reviewing specifications, evaluating RFQs, and using SPX selection tools to identify the most suitable technical solutions.
This is an engineering-led position with limited direct customer contact initially, focusing on accuracy, technical integrity, and internal sales support.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Focus
Review RFQs, specifications, and consultant drawings for compliance and suitability
Use SPX selection tools (QTC) to design and configure optimal solutions
Prepare technical submittals, proposals, and compliance documentation
Support internal teams with technical input and product knowledge
Ensure correct product selection aligned to customer requirements
Commercial Support
Support the sales team with quotations and proposal development
Assist with customer presentations alongside senior colleagues
Build understanding of pricing, value propositions, and competitors
Help maintain pipeline data and forecasting information
What We’re Looking For
Experience in HVAC, cooling towers, process cooling systems or related sectors
Strong ability to interpret technical xcfaprz drawings, RFQs, and specifications
Solid understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
Confident working with technical data and engineering tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Development & Progression
