Working within the Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions, including medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, post-operative care, and continuous monitoring of patient status. You will recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, participate in rapid response or code situations as needed, and collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the interprofessional team to ensure coordinated, safe, and timely care.
Documentation of care using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) will be an essential part of your daily practice, requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards. You will provide ongoing education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and discharge instructions, supporting informed decision-making and smooth transitions of care.
