Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISP) to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing wireless networks and ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain WISP network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including wireless connectivity and performance problems.
Optimize network performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
Perform network monitoring and ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
Proven experience in network engineering, with a focus on WISP operations.
Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, routing, and switching protocols.
Expertise in network design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
Experience with wireless backhaul technologies, RF propagation, and link budgeting.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
