Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

The practice is part of a three-provider group performing approximately 460 gynecological procedures annually, with a robust mix of inpatient and outpatient care. You will join one other OB/GYN and a Nurse Practitioner in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient care and professional collaboration. The facility is home to the only birthing center in the region, delivering around 370 babies each year, which underscores the critical role you will play in this community.

Schedule and Assignment Details

Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a desirable work-life balance. Additionally, you will be on hospital call 24/7 on weekends, for a total of 7 days per month. This predictable schedule offers both professional engagement and personal time, making it an ideal fit for physicians looking to balance their career with family or personal interests.

Support and Work Environment

The practice is supported by one Nurse Practitioner, two full-time Medical Assistants, and one part-time Medical Assistant. With no electronic medical records in the clinic, you'll appreciate the simplicity of paper charting, while the affiliated hospital does utilize an EMR system. Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Michigan medical license or in the process of obtaining one
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• DEA and CSR/CDS certifications required prior to start
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days of application
