Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize scalable data models and transformation pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence.
Partner with data owners and business stakeholders to define requirements and shape data strategies.
Implement best practices for data governance, performance tuning, and observability to ensure data reliability.
Develop and maintain clean, efficient SQL and Python code for data transformation and automation.
Enhance BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) with well‑structured datasets and intuitive dashboards.
Lead code reviews and mentor junior team members, fostering best practices in analytics engineering.
Manage data pipeline integrations (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch) and cloud data warehouses (GCP preferred).
Apply software engineering principles (version control, CI/CD, testing) to maintain a scalable analytics ecosystem.
Enable self‑service analytics, training stakeholders on effective data usage.
Learn and apply AI technologies: Gain familiarity with AI tools and frameworks to assist in software development tasks such as automated testing, code optimization, and data analysis, contributing to improved project outcomes.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in directly related positions.
Expertise in SQL scripting and optimization for large‑scale data.
Proficient with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Strong background in data warehousing concepts, ELT workflows, and cloud‑based analytics platforms (GCP preferred).
Experience mentoring junior analytics engineers or leading technical initiatives.
Solid grasp of software engineering practices for analytics, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and code modularity.
Python and dbt experience preferred.
Must have a high level of analytical and interpersonal skills.
Handles sensitive and confidential data/information.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, and working on a computer for extended periods. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes.
Team members are expected to maintain a dedicated and ergonomically appropriate remote workspace.
Team members who live within commuting distance of our office location in Peachtree Corners (Metro Atlanta, GA) are expected to work in a hybrid capacity every Tuesday and Wednesday each week.
All team members must reside and perform their work within the United States.
