CPOS empowers smarter business operations by connecting equipment, software, and services to protect, control, and optimise assets and processes within commercial, manufacturing and industrial environments. Across multiple energy-intensive verticals, the business provides customers with end-to-end product and service solutions that help ensure the optimisation of their resource consumption.
Position Overview
You will have the opportunity to build, test and deploy secure, highly available and scalable services that will run in a serverless and micro-service environment. The services will be written in a Java/Spring Boot stack (some Nodejs) and packaged for deployment on the Cloud (AWS) using containers (Docker on AWS ECS).
Required experience
Good knowledge of data structures, complexity and performance.
Good understanding of microservice and REST architectures, API gateways, and API design principles.
Good understanding of running services securely in the cloud.
Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Familiarity with serverless systems.
Advantages
AWS Experience is an advantage.
Experience in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or similar) is an advantage.
Experience in Containers (Docker) and Container Orchestration is an advantage.
Experience in Time Series Databases, IoT and Messaging Architecture is an advantage.
