Day To Day
Design and develop scalable data pipelines from internal and external sources using AWS, Airflow, Redshift, Snowflake, EMR, DBT.
Implement new source‑of‑truth datasets in partnership with analytics and business teams.
Collaborate with data product managers, data scientists, data analysts, and other engineers to document requirements and specifications.
Develop, deploy, and maintain serverless pipelines using Event Bridge, Kinesis, AWS Lambda, S3, and Glue.
Optimize performance and scalability to ensure efficient data processing.
Build a robust big‑data ingestion framework with automation, self‑healing, and data‑drift handling.
Adopt automated and manual testing strategies to assure data product quality.
Understand Taco Bell products and contribute to end‑to‑end solutions.
Maintain high operational efficiency and meet SLAs.
Participate in code reviews and communicate complex data into digestible formats.
Is This You?
Bachelor’s degree
in analytics, statistics, engineering, math, economics, computer science, IT or related discipline.
2+ years of professional experience with cloud technologies.
2–5 years designing and delivering large‑scale, 24‑7, mission‑critical data pipelines and features using modern cloud architectures.
2+ years of hands‑on experience in Python/PySpark/Spark and SQL.
3+ years of experience in ETL pipelines such as Informatica, AWS Glue, DBT.
3+ years working with Redshift, Snowflake or similar.
Expert knowledge in complex SQL and ETL for large datasets using batch and real‑time streaming.
Strong data‑analysis skills to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and provide insights.
Experience integrating streaming technologies such as Kinesis Firehose, Kafka.
Experience with AWS ecosystem: Lambda, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, Airflow, S3.
Experience integrating data from multiple source formats such as JSON, Parquet, Iceberg.
Experience supporting cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Strong quantitative and communication skills.
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Terraform.
Good to have: proficiency with automated testing tools (e.g., pytest).
Good to have: experience in full‑life‑cycle deployment, focusing on testing and quality.
Good to have: experience in data quality processes, checks, validations, metrics.
Good to have: use of data quality tools such as Informatica DQ.

Salary Range:
$108,300 – $127,500 annually + bonus eligibility. Pay is based on location, experience, and other factors.
