This entry-level position is a great opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented candidate who is eager to learn about the initial public offering (IPO) market. You will play an integral role in tracking IPO activity, screening SEC filings, and building profiles on companies going public within a collaborative, high-energy, analytical firm in Stamford, CT.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze IPO filings. Read prospectuses filed with the SEC, extract key data, and build company profiles that institutional investors use to make decisions.
Write market content. Help produce quarterly reports and articles on IPO market trends.
Improve our products and processes. Collaborate with our development team to streamline internal processes and improve the user experience of our research platform and tools.
Own data quality. Assist with data quality checks and ensure accuracy across all published content.
Qualifications
College graduate (BA/BS) with a strong GPA or other evidence of academic excellence.
Quick reading, writing, and numerical reasoning skills. You process information quickly and communicate it clearly.
Comfortable reading dense, technical documents such as financial statements, legal disclosures, and regulatory filings. You don't need a finance background, but you shouldn't be intimidated by a page full of numbers and footnotes.
Strong attention to detail – you catch errors other people miss.
Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with financial documents, SEC filings, or business plans.
Familiarity with web user experience and design principles.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Stamford, CT office, with a minimum of three days per week in office. Depending on market activity and project deadlines, typical days may start as early as 8:00 AM or extend to 6:00 PM. We operate in a fast-paced environment driven by the IPO calendar, and the ability to manage your time effectively is essential.
