Responsibilities
Develop solutions within the Salesforce or CRM platform or software that integrates with Salesforce to meet stakeholder requirements for existing and new functionality.
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts and other developers to design, develop, test and deploy solutions including dashboards, interfaces, and integrations.
Assist with necessary system upgrades in all Salesforce environments, testing all impacted areas and workflows.
Work with the institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
Engage members of the user community to define and document development requirements.
Assist with the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
Understand and adhere to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant system development experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
Programming experience with SQL, SFDC toolkit, VisualForce, and Apex.
Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
Ability to work with changing priorities and with multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CSS, Java, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML, XML, AJAX, jQuery.
Experience with Agile development framework.
Salesforce certification as Platform Developer 1.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Hybrid position – required to be on site in Somerset, NJ 2 days per week.
Standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing.
No special vision requirements.
Office environment with moderate noise.
