Location: Columbus, OH - hybrid role Job Description Our client is seeking a high-performing HVAC Sales Representative to drive new business growth through proactive prospecting, consultative selling, and the development of long-term service relationships.
This role is responsible for owning the full sales cycle, with a primary focus on self-generated pipeline development and the sale of recurring maintenance/service agreements. The position requires strong technical understanding, disciplined sales execution, and the ability to engage directly with facility decision-makers.
Responsibilities
Generate new business through disciplined prospecting, networking, and referral development
Build and maintain a self-sourced pipeline of qualified commercial and industrial prospects
Conduct consultative sales conversations with facility managers and decision-makers
Identify operational pain points related to HVAC systems and facility performance
Maintain and expand customer relationships, including renewal support
Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure successful delivery
Base Salary: $85,000 – $140,000 based on experience
Commission includes incentives for:
New business
401(k) with 5% match
Paid time off (up to 4 weeks) + 9 holidays
