Sales Manager
required in the Wantage area to oversee Sales Office operations, generate new business, value properties, manage staff, and deliver excellent service while growing market share and profitability. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to oversee the sales department of a highly regarded independent agency with offices across Berkshire and Oxfordshire. This is a senior position suited to a confident and personable property professional who can manage and develop the lettings business, lead a team, and build strong relationships with landlords while increasing instructions and overall performance. What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities): Managing and overseeing the day-to-day running of the sales department Carrying out market appraisals and valuing properties Winning new instructions Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors Leading, motivating, and developing the sales team Monitoring performance and ensuring targets are achieved Overseeing marketing strategies and property promotion Identifying new business opportunities through networking and prospecting
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience): Significant experience in residential sales, ideally at management level Proven track record in valuations and winning new business Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing staff Excellent communication and organisational abilities In-depth understanding of the lettings process and legislation Professional, personable, and confident approach Good IT and administrative skills Ambitious with a focus on achieving results and business growth Local knowledge of Wantage and surrounding areas essential Full UK driving licence required ARLA qualification desirable
