TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist to provide part-time surgical coverage. This role focuses on ophthalmic surgical procedures and follow-up care in a supportive, community-based setting.
Position Details
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Ophthalmology
Schedule: Up to one 8-hour day per month (with potential for additional hours/shifts monthly)
Procedures:
Glaucoma treatment
Cataract surgery
Pterygium procedures
Responsibilities: Pre- and post-surgical follow-up care for ophthalmology patients
Requirements
MD degree required
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
Active North Carolina medical license
Prior ophthalmic surgical experience preferred
Ability to provide both surgical and follow-up patient care
