Gastroenterology Physician

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to provide locum services in Walla Walla, Washington . This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed starting March 1, 2026 , and is ongoing for long-term, part-time coverage (2 weeks per month).

Job Details:

• Case Types: Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, fulguration, foreign body removal, injection of varices), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Small Bowel biopsy, and Colonoscopy.

• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; (Level 3 Trauma Center).

• Schedule: 2 weeks per month; primarily inpatient 7a 7p with night call and 24-hour weekend call.

• Support: Strong collaborative environment with 2 RNs, 2 MAs, and 2 PA/NPs.

• EMR System: EPIC.

Requirements:

• Active Board Certification in Gastroenterology.

• State License in Washington (or active IMLC).

• Active DEA.

• Experience with standard GI procedures required.
