Senior Service Engineer Location: Dublin (Field-Based) Type: Permanent, Full-Time Overview A well-established and recognised organisation within the Retail & Wholesale sector is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to join its dynamic Service team.

This is a hands-on, field-based role offering long-term stability, structured working hours, and clear career progression within a growing technical environment.
Salary & Benefits €45,000 €48,000 per annum (depending on experience) 37.5-hour working week (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 4:15 pm) On-call allowance: €190 (monthly rota) Daily subsistence: €12 per day Annual leave: 24 days Company van provided Clear career progression opportunities Long-term job security within an established business Key Responsibilities: EquipmentInstallation & Maintenance Carry out site surveys and installation of equipment, working closely with internal teams and customers Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, aiming for a first-time fix Refurbish second-hand equipment to extend its lifecycle Manage spare parts effectively and maintain accurate van stock levels Accurately record all service activities using internal systems Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental standards Maintain high standards across tools, vehicles, and the working environment Innovation Build relationships with equipment suppliers to stay aligned with the latest technical developments Stay up to date with competitor innovation to maintain technical competitiveness Support the introduction, testing, and validation of new equipment Teamwork Act as a key and trusted member of the Technical Service team Continuously develop technical, product, and commercial knowledge Support the training and development of colleagues and new team members Collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient and effective service Collaboration Participate in company-wide improvement initiatives Work closely with commercial teams to support new opportunities and maintain existing business Share knowledge with quality and operational teams Customer Service Take ownership of technical support within your assigned territory Deliver high standards of service and exceed customer expectations Provide guidance to customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and cleaning Key Requirements Third-level qualification in Engineering/Technical discipline or National Craft Certificate with relevant experience Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electronic systems Experience xcfaprz in field service, equipment maintenance, or similar environments Experience with coffee equipment or similar systems is highly desirable Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability Customer-focused with the ability to build trusted relationships Excellent communication and teamwork skills Background in food & beverage or related industry is advantageous Full clean driving licence Key Skills Field Service Engineering Technical Service & Maintenance Equipment Installation Fault Diagnosis Customer Support Apply or Refer If you are interested in this opportunity, or know someone who may be a good fit, please get in touch directly: Call: Email: Apply online: Skills: Third-level qualification in Engineering/Technical National Craft Certificate mechanical and/or electronic systems Benefits: Company Vehicle Pension Fund
