GI Technician PRN

University Health is currently seeking a Gastro-Intestinal Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a reputation for exceptional service and patient care.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the administrative and clinical duties of the Gastro-Intestinal procedure room and assists physicians during procedures in all areas of Endoscopy to include general endoscopy, bronchoscopy and advanced endoscopy.  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• Previous endoscopy experience is preferred. 
• Previous hospital experience or experience as a military hospital tech (orderly) and/or nursing assistant is preferred. 
• Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
