Project Design Manager
to support a portfolio of large-scale education projects. With a strong global presence and a growing pipeline of complex work, this is an opportunity to join a business delivering high-profile projects across multiple sectors.
This role will initially be based in
Miami, FL , before relocating to the
U.S. Virgin Islands
to support project delivery onsite.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full design lifecycle from concept through construction documentation
Act as the primary liaison between Architects, Engineers, and internal project teams
Manage and coordinate all design consultants across multiple projects
Review and distribute design documentation in line with project timelines and quality standards
Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and contractual requirements
Drive design coordination to align with constructability, budget, and schedule
Manage RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and other design-related documentation
Develop and track the design execution schedule
Support construction teams with design interpretation and implementation
Facilitate communication between site teams and external consultants
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience within the building construction industry
Strong background in design management and coordination
Solid knowledge of U.S. building codes (IBC, NFPA, ASTM)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in education projects and/or Caribbean markets is a plus
