Job Description: We are looking for a senior SAP SD/MM Functional Analyst who is equally comfortable doing the work as talking about it. This is a hands-on, multi-hat role on an implementation engagement not a support project, not an architecture-only seat. The right person has seen and done a wide variety of things across their career, can engage US-based business stakeholders directly, and brings enough analytics awareness to bridge SAP functional work with reporting and data needs. If you need a team to execute your ideas, this is not the role for you.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on configuration in SAP SD and MM you own the work, not just the direction. Lead blueprint sessions and fit-gap analysis directly with US-based business stakeholders. Gather and translate business analytics requirements into functional specs for reporting and dashboard development built on SAP SD/MM data. Implement SAP SD processes order to cash, sales orders, deliveries, intercompany invoicing. Implement SAP MM processes master data (info records, source lists), PO/PR, purchasing functions. Manage cross-functional integration points between SD and MM and engage with EDI/B2B and third-party systems. Wear multiple hats adapt to evolving project needs, work directly with the hiring manager on deliverables, and bring flexibility to ambiguous situations.
Experience:
1015 years of SAP experience with genuine hands-on depth in both SD and MM not just oversight or architecture. SAP S/4HANA implementation experience full cycle preferred; S/4 strongly preferred over ECC only. Analytics project exposure must have been involved in at least one project where SAP SD/MM data was used to build business dashboards or reports, in a requirements, design, or functional spec capacity. US client-facing experience within the last 57 years must be comfortable leading stakeholder conversations independently. Proven ability to run blueprint sessions and fit-gap analysis independently with business teams. Strong communication, presentability, and comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving project environments. Demonstrated versatility someone who has worked across different types of projects and is not locked into a single specialty or role type. SAP CRM experience and understanding of middleware interaction between SAP SD and CRM. Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, or Tableau as a data consumer or requirements driver.
