Quality Assurance Operative When registering to this job board you will be redirected to the online application form. We're looking for a QA Operative to join the team in our Prepared Factory on a fixed term contract of 9 months. The QA Operative is an important part of the technical team here at Branston and youll take responsibility for monitoring the quality of our finished product and ensuring that it consistently meets our customers' high standards. Duties include: Traceability exercises Undertake effective Internal Audits to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures Ensuring samples are collected for testing schedules and testing schedules are met Logging micro samples Accurate carrying out of positive release checks for all finished products GMP audits/ Glass and plastic audits, including generation of improvement areas, completing database Ensure close outs of non-conformances Sampling and recording of finished product shelf life Carryout of routine checks including temperature, probe calibrations, product checks etc. Shift Pattern : Fixed Term contract - 9months Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 6am to Finish Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday - 6am - Finish Skills and experience: Prior experience of Quality Assurance Practical experience in the food manufacturing industry Good knowledge of food safety legislation Good level of attention to detail and organisational skills In return you will receive: Critical Illness Cover Competitive pay Pension Life insurance Online store discount platform, offering a range of discount to major retailers Health and well being initiatives Free potatoes Free hot drinks and fruit Free onsite parking Opportunities for overtime and overtime bonus Family fun events Apply now to join a growing business with big plans.
